Now, with the company poised on Thursday to report a double-digit increase in sales and per-share earnings for fiscal 2005, some think Wal-Mart's stock is set to climb. So now is a good time to buy, they say...But others aren't as enthusiastic and point out reasons why investors may not want to jump aboard the Wal-Mart bandwagon. The potential problems include the maturity of the store base in the United States, more involvement in the slower growth grocery industry and sales cannibalization as Wal-Mart opens stores near each other.
